Electrical Installations & Maintenance

Safety is the first priority when it comes to electrical systems. At home or at work, if you need electrical installation or maintenance work done, it is recommended that you hire an electrician who is registered with a government-approved scheme. This means that the electrician will work to the BS7671 safety standard, be fully insured, and have their work regularly assessed. This also ensures that any installation will comply with building regulations. Our electricians are City & Guilds trained, NICEIC accredited and Part P registered. So you can feel confident that your property is in safe hands with our experienced team. To find out more, get in touch with our team today.

PAT Testing

Portable Appliance Testing, or PAT testing, uses a combination of visual inspections and electronic tests to check the safety of appliances. As an employer, it is your responsibility to keep staff and visitors to your site safe. Faulty electrical appliances are a workplace hazard which can lead to fire or electric shocks, which is why regular PAT testing matters.

During a visit to your property, our electricians will thoroughly inspect any appliance that has a flexible cable or plug and socket – including computers, monitors, printers, kettles, and many other common workplace appliances. If required, following a PAT test we can also service equipment to ensure it works safely and reliably.

Landlord Safety Checks

Private landlords are required to ensure all electrical installations in a rental property are inspected and tested by a registered electrician every five years. During an inspection, our electricians will test and inspect any fixed installations at the property, including wiring, sockets, and light fittings, before producing an electrical safety report (EICR). Landlord safety checks start from just £120.
